Lotus Light Reiki℠ and the Lotus Light Reiki Wisdom School® intentionally embrace a circle of equals rather than a system of rank or seniority. No practitioner stands above another, and lineage is not used to establish authority or status. Within this tradition, every practitioner’s connection begins with Source itself.

In many forms of Reiki, lineage traces a practitioner’s training through an unbroken line of teachers leading back to Dr. Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki. Much like a family tree, it identifies who taught whom and honors the teachings and practices passed from one generation to the next.

We respect these roots while holding a different understanding of where wisdom originates. Source can mean many things to different people, with some even tracing the feeling to the small voice within. Teachers may guide us, share what they have learned, and help illuminate the path—but Source remains the original teacher. By returning the lineage to Source, we honor those who came before us without creating hierarchy within the circle.

A Lineage That Forms A Circle

The Lotus Light Reiki Wisdom School Association of Healers and Teachers is a growing community of practitioners and teachers dedicated to sharing Events, Training, Retreats and Programs that move us on a path toward healing, connection, and inner wisdom. We welcome people of all backgrounds and traditions, honoring the understanding that the wisdom of Source is available to everyone.

Through practice, education, mentorship, and community, our members help others reconnect with their own innate capacity for healing and growth. Together, we support one another in deepening our knowledge, serving with integrity, and carrying the light of this work into our communities

THE MEANING BEHIND OUR LOGO

REFLECTED BY OUR IDEALS

The Lotus Light Reiki Wisdom School logo expresses our approach to learning, spiritual connection, and wholeness. Its interwoven forms bring together the heart and mind, masculine and feminine, earth and divine—reflecting the balance we cultivate within ourselves and our community.

The Lotus at the Heart
The lotus rests at the heart of the design, representing awakening, inner wisdom, and the unfolding of our potential. Rooted in the earth and opening toward the light, it reminds us that spiritual growth begins with a grounded foundation.

The Seed of Life
The surrounding geometry draws upon the Seed of Life, a pattern of seven overlapping circles. Within our logo, it symbolizes creation, interconnectedness, and the potential held within every new beginning. Each circle is complete in itself, yet contributes to a greater whole—just as each person brings their own wisdom to our shared learning.

Masculine and Feminine in Balance
The design holds masculine and feminine aspects together, honoring them as complementary qualities present within each of us. Their relationship represents integration, mutual support, and the balance of energies that allows us to grow in wholeness.

As Above, So Below
The gold line extending from top to bottom expresses the connection between the divine and the earthly: as above, so below. Passing through the lotus, it brings this connection into the heart of the design. Within our school’s philosophy, groundedness is the foundation for heart–mind coherence—the alignment of feeling, understanding, and intention. Rooted presence allows us to embody spiritual wisdom in everyday life.

A Circle of Shared Wisdom
The circles also express our commitment to a round-table learning community. A circle has no head and no privileged seat; everyone brings something of value. This reflects the school’s nonhierarchical spirit, where learning grows through shared experience, respectful exchange, and recognition of each person’s wisdom.

Together, these elements express wholeness: within ourselves, in our relationships, and in our connection to life. Our logo is an invitation to stay rooted, open the heart, and grow together.
